Alumni #1

Jeffrey Han

Jeffrey graduated from LCC in 2002. He started his professional career as a system engineer for a national production company. After a few years running concert audio, lighting and staging systems Jeff took a position as the production manager and front of house engineer for a national touring artist. Following this tour Jeff left the road to begin work on his bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering at Pittsburg State University.

The connections made both in the audio world and in the classroom opened the opportunity for his current position as the Director of Engineering for KRPS the public radio station on the P.S.U. campus.
Justin McIntyre

Justin McIntyre

Justin is a 2003 department graduate. Upon leaving LCC he went to work for StagePro as a general Tec. He worked in all areas of production including sound, lighting, staging, as well as directing the assembly of temporary roofs for outdoor events. After a few seasons he was offered a position as the RF operator for “River Dance” Jan 09. This opportunity led to Justin’s current position as their Lead Audio engineer. Justin says he enjoys the, six months on six months off, format of the position as well as the benefits of being a union member with full insurance. He spends his off time fixing up his classic cars and collecting guitars and other gear to outfit his personal recording studio.
Brad Johnson

Brad Johnson

Brad graduated from LCC in 2005. He then moved to Branson, MO Where he was hired by Silver Dollar City for a two-month trial period as a sound technician. Brad has maintained his position and over the last five years he has worked in all 9 venues within the park. He is currently running monitors on a Crest Century console in the Echo Hollow Amphitheater. During the Christmas season he is the F.O.H. engineer for the Cajun Connection at the Dockside Theater.
